Use these traps for monitoring which pests are in your greenhouse. Best results will be achieved if traps are introduced early in the season, before any pests are established, but they can be introduced at any time.
These dry-glue traps offer all the advantages of the classic yellow sticky traps, but they come with a human-friendly, hot-melt type glue. This glue is just as effective on bugs and other creepy-crawlies, but it does not leave a residue on your hands. They are a lot quicker and easier to use than standard traps.
Suspend your traps just above the plants. Remove the protective cover paper from the traps to reveal the sticky surfaces. The traps are double-sided so you can expose just one side at first, to make the trap last longer. If adult insects are already present tap the plants to disturb them. Additional traps may be used near vents and doors to catch any insects flying in from outside.
How Long Does it Last
The trap will stay sticky and last for several months. If more than half the surface gets covered with insects and dust we recommend that they should be replaced.
IF YOU ARE USING APHID OR WHITEFLY BIOCONTROL PLACE YOUR TRAPS FAR AWAY FROM THE HATCHING STATION, OR YOU WILL CATCH THE BENEFICIAL PREDATORS AS SOON AS THEY EMERGE.
